Black Trans Archive

Digital Space Group

Black trans artist Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley designed a trippy virtual landscape to preserve black trans experiences and identity.

Are you interested in theatre with digital technology as well as theatre that takes place in digital space - a riddle that is quite not solved yet but holds a lot of potential?

Then take a drink and join our Digital Stage group. Found in summer 2020 during our Alexandria Nova zoom week, we continue to meet regularly on zoom - every Wednesday at 8pm.

Since it became again impossible to rehearse and perform in physical space, our next sessions will be all about internet culture and other virtual formats that we can learn from as theatre makers. There is much more than streaming out there!

Feel invited to join our next Meeting on Wednesday December 2nd at 8pmon Zoom.

This session will be all about the Black Trans Archive by black trans artist Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley who designed a trippy virtual landscape to preserve black transe experiences and identity. Very inspiring! In split groups we will enter the archive live together and exchange our experiences consequently.

Zoom link will be provided after contacting us.
