Kaite O´Reilly´s debut feature film as screenwriter "The Almond and the Seahorse" (Mad as Birds films) will be released in 2023, featuring Rebel Wilson and Charlotte Gainsbourg. As a writer, her awards include, winner of: Ted Hughes Award, Peggy Ramsay Award, Theatre-Wales Award, Manchester Theatre Prize, a two-time finalist in the James Tait Black Prize for Innovation in Drama and honoured in International Eliot Hayes Award for Outstanding Achievement in Dramaturgy.

Mentor/creative exec’ for transmedia project GALWAD (Unboxed, Sky Arts, October 2022), associate dramaturg for National Theatre Wales and the production dramaturg for Rambert’s Peaky Blinder’s dance performance The Redemption of Thomas Shelby 2022/23.

Involved in disability arts and culture for decades, her pioneering plays featuring disabled and Deaf actors are produced internationally, most recently in Singapore, China and South Korea. Kaite O´Reilly gives keynotes and lead masterclasses on the aesthetics of access with Un-Label (Germany), Access Path Productions and the British Council (China, Portugal, Spain, Singapore). She is Mentee on Women in Film and TV mentoring scheme.

Kaite O´Reilly hält Vorträge und leitet Masterklassen über die Ästhetik des Zugangs mit Un-Label (Deutschland), Access Path Productions und dem British Council (China, Portugal, Spanien, Singapur). Sie ist Mentee im Mentoring-Programm "Frauen in Film und Fernsehen".
