Introducing Students of the Deutsches Theater

Nearly forgotten documentary treasures from the archive of the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch have been restored, digitized, and made accessible for the first time. HfS alumnus Enno Trebs is Berlinale Shooting Star 2026

Enno Trebs (c) Nele Trebs

We warmly congratulate HfS alumnus Enno Trebs on being honored as a young talent at the 2026 Berlinale! Enno Trebs was selected as one of ten European “Shooting Stars,” as announced by European Film Promotion. Every year, the organization invites exceptional talents to the International Film Festival in Berlin. Enno Trebs studied acting at the HfS Ernst Busch from 2016 to 2020. As a child, he appeared in Michael Haneke's “The White Ribbon.” Since then, he has appeared in many films, regularly working with director Christian Petzold. The jury described him as an “intense, precise actor who combines youthful energy with a distinct maturity.” He will soon be seen in Nicolas Ehret's “Morgen war Krieg.”

Enno Trebs currently teaches acting to first-year students as a lecturer at the HfS Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts and works with students on scene study.
