Homan Wesa born 1985 in Kabul Afghanistan. Graduated from Faculty of Fine Arts department of Acting from Kabul University in 2008. During his studies he started to work with Azdar Theatre, he worked in Different theatre show with this group in national and international levels. He is awarded the best ACTOR in 2012 by Afghan National Theatre Festival which was conducted by Ministry of Information and Culture. With support of Goethe Institute of Kabul, they established Parwaz Puppet Theatre the first independent puppet theatre in Afghanistan in 2009. He attended in different theatre festivals in foreign countries like; National School of Drama (NSD) in India, International Puppet Theater Festival of Tehran in Iran. From 2009 until 2012 he worked with institutions and organizations like Goethe Institute, UNICEF and Afghan Medias like TOLO TV and 1 TV in areas of children rights, peace building and theater performances. In May 2012 as per the request of GIZ/ZFD he started working as “Assistant for Peace and Theater” in Kabul and he mainly dealt with refugee camps, local people and additionally covered those of street children. Furthermore, in March 2015 considering his outstanding performances which has been recognized by GIZ Organization they have awarded him a three months scholarship to Germany under the title of “Participatory Peace in Conflict Consultant in Academy for Conflict Transformation” in Köln of Germany. He can speak German English and Urdu languages very well. He works in numerous films the last film had performed is “The Lost Bag” which was funded by British Council and produced by the Tora Bora Media, he awarded the Best Actor of this film in Herat International Festival in 2015. Also, he participates in Figuren theatre Festival in Germany. In his last production that he act in kabul Thea heart beat silence after the explosion sad incident was happened a suicide bomber was attacked the theatre inside French culture institute. He also work as a guest Actor in DNT Deutsches Nationaltheater & Staatskapelle Weimar GmbH - Staatstheater Weimar, Thüringen. In an international project with Kula Company,the name of the show was MALALAI – die afghanische Jungfrau von OrléansNow he is living in Germany and studying Directing of theatre in Ernst Busch Academy Berlin.

Und die berühmten Khivan-Bachas traten auf. Ein Orchester aus Zwillingsflöten, Pauken und einem halben Dutzend mannshohen Silbertrompeten nahm seinen Platz ein. Gegenüber uns eine Tür, leicht angelehnt, führte zum Harem, wo die Bachas lebten. Wir sahen Blicke aus blitzenden Augen, als die Menschen darin zur Tür eilten, um uns zu betrachten und die Vorstellung zu sehen

UFA – Upset Feminists of Afghanistan is a group of singing feminist men from Afghanistan who demand the impossible: the abolition of capitalist patriarchy, the feminization of politics, economy and culture, a new Afghan-feminist etiquette.
Their strategy: the overthrow of reactionary phallic conditions by means of critical theory and puppetry.
