Biografie

Vero (she/her/they/them) studied Arts and Aesthetics at Bard College Berlin and finished with thesis titled Freies Staatstheater: Attempts of Restructuring the German State Theatres for the 21st Century. Afterward she moved to do Masters in Alternative and Puppetry Theatre at the Performing Arts Academy in Prague. Currently, she is pursuing yet another Masters in Spiel und Objekt at Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin.

In her practice she works with dyi new media and sound design. She is concerned with the topics of feminism and capitalism and through immersive, installations and theatre shows she tries to offer possibilities of new worlds and social contracts. She believes that through understanding technology we can subvert its use to social and natural benefits, rather than submitting to "customer-ship" of big companies.

At the moment, she is learning to code, use artduinos, and works on her research of concept of care in (post) pandemic theater.

She is inspired by the works of Donna Harraway, Ursula Le Guin, Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven and Delia Derbyshire.
